Show Ready Productions has always been about more than the stage. From the beginning, we’ve believed that the skills, stories and talent nurtured in a rehearsal room deserve to be seen on screen too — and that’s exactly what our film work makes possible.
Alongside our live productions, we create original short films that give our company members valuable on-camera experience, push our storytelling into new territory, and shine a light on the kind of character-led, emotionally grounded work we love.
Show Badger
Our films are made in collaboration with the brilliant Rocket Badger Productions — together, we go by the name Show Badger. Rocket Badger brings serious filmmaking craft and a string of successes in the short film arena; we bring the performers, the stories, and the theatre-rooted instincts. The result is something a bit special.

Table For Two
Written by Katie Parker & Show Ready co-founder Benjamin Stubbs, Table For Two is a short film made with members of the Show Ready company and some external actors — an intimate, character-driven piece that puts performance and connection at the centre.
This Christmas
Also written by Benjamin Stubbs, This Christmas continues our exploration of storytelling through a cinematic lens, with the warmth and emotional sincerity that runs through everything Show Ready makes.
The Wedding Singer — Music Video
Made to accompany our February 2026 production at the Crewe Lyceum Theatre, this music video captures the energy, the cast, and the spirit of a show that brought the house down night after night. The song is produced by Benjamin Stubbs and has the vocals of Kieran Picken and the cast.
